The African Management Institute (AMI) has been selected for this year’s prestigious Norrsken Impact/100 list. As one of only 8 African companies to make the list, this solidifies their position as one of the world’s most promising impact companies.
The Impact/100, created by Norrsken, is an annual compilation of the globe’s most innovative and impactful startups. This esteemed list is curated through nominations from 40 partners, including renowned investors such as Breakthrough Energy, Norrksen22, Atomico, Andreessen Horowitz (A16Z), Khosla Ventures, and DC/VC.
AMI’s Global Recognition
Out of over 1,200 globally nominated companies, AMI stood out for our work pioneering practical, tech-enabled business learning at scale for Africa’s ambitious companies and talent. This acknowledgment from Norrsken and its distinguished nomination partners highlights AMI’s significant contribution to addressing some of the world’s most pressing challenges.
“We’re building AMI to supercharge Africa’s ambitious companies and talent – not to win prizes. But when you’re in the trenches, this kind of recognition goes a long way. I am so proud of our team and thankful to our clients, investors, and friends – as well as the 37k businesses we’ve supported across Africa. Now onwards with the work of supercharging the performance of the next 100k African business champions!”, Rebecca Harrison, CEO & Co-Founder of AMI, shared her thoughts on this achievement.
During New York Climate Week, the AMI logo was prominently displayed on the Nasdaq Tower in Times Square, serving as a powerful reminder of the global significance of their work.
