Join the African Management Institute (AMI) for a virtual round table moderated by Dr. McLean Sibanda who will be joined by a panel of seasoned leaders in the B-BBEE space.
The panel will be unpacking the topic – Ordinary Enterprise and Supplier Development (ESD) isn’t Good Enough! Exploring the disruptive opportunities COVID-19 brings for more socially inclusive enterprise development.
Event Background
COVID-19 has challenged ESD programmes and Entrepreneur Support Organisations (Incubators, Accelerators, Startup Hubs) to re-evaluate not just their value proposition to entrepreneurs but also how to deliver greater social impact when supporting the increasing number of the township and rural startups. How can B-BBEE ecosystem players use the business disruption from COVID-19 as an opportunity to innovate and challenge the notions of what sustainable impact means? This round table is aimed at providing a platform for debate, idea generation, and a reflection of the current B-BBEE landscape and more so how various stakeholders can collaborate in creating sustainable impact that leads to development.
